Doomsday Cult Waits For The End of The World

While insane Muslims go on killing rampages to usher in their Hour of Judgment, these wacky Christians hide in a cave...

AT least 30 members of a Russian doomsday cult have barricaded themselves in a remote cave to await the end of the world and are threatening to commit suicide if police intervene, officials and media said today.

“They have covered the entrance and refuse to come out and are threatening to blow themselves up,” an official in the local prosecutor's office told Reuters by telephone.

“They threaten to detonate a gas tank and blow themselves up.”

The cult members, who include 29 adults and four children, are hidden inside a snow-covered hillside in the Penza region of central Russia.

"Wacky Christians".

The word "Christian" means "Christ imitator/follower[ian]". Where are they imitating & following the teachings of Jesus here? I have a simple point where the MSM goes overboard to protect Muslims by referring to them as "insurgents, terrorists, extremists" etc...trying desperately to disconnect them from Islam in general...meanwhile we know these Jihadists are truly following the Quran to the letter.

Why call these people Christians at all?

I used "wacky" because there are not many other ways to describe this ridiculous behavior, and I used "Christians" because that's how the article referred to them (it's in part of the article linked)

But you have a valid point - Muslims are only "Muslims" when behaving in a positive manner, but violent, murderous Muslims are rarely referred to by their religion. Instead they are, as you say, "insurgents," "radicals," or "extremists," etc.

Keep up the great blog, I recommend it to everyone I talk to!
