Robert Spencer writes about a new short video on the Muslim persecution of Christians in the Middle East.

Christianity, born in the Middle East, is in danger of losing its two millenia-long presence there. If that notion sounds alarmist to Western ears, it is acknowledged by Middle Easterners as a growing likelihood.

“I fear the extinction of Christianity in Iraq and the Middle East,” said the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Baghdad, Jean Benjamin Sleiman, as Pope Benedict XVI visited that troubled region this week. The Lebanese Christian columnist Sarkis Naoum added: “Unless there is a turn toward secularism in the Arab world, I don’t think there is a future for Christians here.” In 1909, the Middle East was 20 percent Christian; one hundred years later, that percentage has fallen to five percent.

This precipitous decline is chronicled and explained in a detailed historical video entitled Muslim Persecution of Christians, produced by the Terrorism Awareness Project. The video, which is embedded below, recounts contemporary examples of anti-Christian violence, and the Islamic theology that justifies and intensifies it.

As the video demonstrates, the resurgence of the Islamic jihad and Islamic supremacism around the world in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries can be directly correlated with the declining Christian population. As Muslims, influenced by Salafi movements to restore the “purity” of Islamic governance, reassert traditional Islamic legal stipulations mandating and institutionalizing discrimination against and harassment of Christians, Christians all over the Islamic world are feeling the heat.

When was the last time you persecuted a Muslim? If you are a Crusader like myself, you probably did so very recently.

You persecute Muslims whenever you mock their prophet (pig piss be upon him).

You persecute Muslims every time you reveal a historical fact about the formation of the world's most intolerant religion.

You persecute Muslims when you point out Muhammad (more pig piss be upon him) was a child-rapist or wife abuser. Muslims don't like to think of their perfect, shining example being a common, albeit, cruel criminal.

You persecute them when you expose the true nature and savagery of their prophet (mppbuh), who slaughtered countless innocents in his quest for power, and to fulfill his greed and lust.

You persecute Muslims every time you question 54-year-old Muhammad's (mppbuh) sexual relationship with a 9-year-old child, whom he molested for years prior.

You persecute Muslims when you condemn the Islamic treatment of women. In Islam, a woman is the possession of her husband, who is free to do as he pleases with her. He can treat her kindly, or beat her. It is his prerogative.

You persecute Muslims whenever you question the brutal, unjust punishments invoked by the Sharia. The Sharia is Allah's law, which Muslims view as perfect. It includes stoning to death women who cannot prove rape and simple monetary fines for Muslims who slaughter non-Muslims.

You persecute them when you express disgust at the practice of honor killings. Slaughtering (suspected) unchaste females is an Allah-given right to male Muslims. Whether she is truly guilty or not is irrelevant. The family's honor is more important than a young girl's life.

You persecute them when you hold Islam accountable for atrocities committed by Muslims in the name of Allah.

You persecute Muslims when you expose their lies and deceit. The tactic of deceiving non-Muslims is called "taqiyya" or "kitman".

You persecute them if you then question their integrity. Lying is forbidden in Islam. If you don't believe that, just ask a Muslim.

You persecute Muslims whenever you point out the fallacies of Qur'anic verses that profess godly knowledge of the universe.

You persecute Muslims when you remind them of the Satanic verses.

You persecute them if you draw a connection between Islam and terrorism.

You persecute them if you are a Zionist.

And you persecute Muslims if you dare to insult their faith. And for that, you deserve to be executed.

For persecution is worse than slaughter.

In order to establish a new Islamic state in Kosovo, the West is willing to accept the destruction of a democracy. No longer can the coalition forces use the excuse of freedom to invade dictatorial countries like the former Iraq. Freedom and Democracy are irrelevant. Politics is not.

Formally still a Serbian province, Kosovo has been run by a mission of the United Nations since mid-1999 when North Atlantic Treaty Organization bombing halted a crackdown by Belgrade-controlled forces on its breakaway ethnic Albanian majority.

In four months of U.N.-backed talks that ended in failure Monday, Belgrade was only willing to offer the province broad autonomy. Most Serbs consider the southern province their country's spiritual heartland.

"The disturbed relations of the coalition partners at this moment have weakened the negotiation position of Belgrade (on Kosovo), which is regrettable from the position of national and state interests," said analyst Antonic.

Serbia is a model of Islamic Jihad. Ethic Albanian Muslims in Kosovo have persecuted, subjugated, and slaughtered innocent non-Muslims for centuries. Yet when Serb Infidels fought back, the world responded by knocking them down and handing Jihadists a victory - the unjust reward of independence.

This move will no doubt cost the lives of thousands of Serbs. But the appearance of freedom for those who seek to impose Sharia rule on all is more important than the lives of those who refuse to convert, submit, or die. The West would rather play the politically correct game of appeasement, to avoid wounding Muslim sensibilities. For, in the Islamic world, Persecution is worse than slaughter.
