Welcome to Dickipedia!
In case you are having problems figuring out the who's who in the world of dicks, Dickipedia comes to the rescue! A sample entry:
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (born October 28, 1956) is the sixth and current President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the former mayor of Tehran, an outspoken critic of the Bush administration, a zealous opponent of Israel, the apparent owner of several Members Only jackets, and a dick.
[...]
In December, 2005, Ahmadinejad called the Holocaust a “myth” and criticized European laws against Holocaust denial. In December 2006, he organized the International Conference to Review the Global Vision of the Holocaust, drawing a sold out crowd of 67 people, including such luminaries as former KKK Imperial Wizard David Duke, and two lonely rabbis from the group Jews United Against Zionism.

Columbia University Professors & Deans To Apologize To Ahmadinejad
Weasel Zippers commented on this development by saying, "Excuse me while I go bang my fucking head off a wall..." My sentiments exactly.
An academic delegation of Columbia University professors and deans of faculties plans to visit Tehran to officially apologize to Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad.
The delegation plans to express regret for the insulting remarks Columbia University President Lee Bollinger directed at Ahmadinejad on September 24 in his introductory speech, the Mehr News Agency correspondent in New York reported.
Since the incident, the deans and professors from the faculties of history, anthropology, Middle Eastern studies, philosophy, and Islamic studies have criticized Bollinger’s behavior toward Ahmadinejad.
These professors and deans are obviously Islamic sympathizers who have no objections to the treatment of women and homosexuals in the Middle East. They should all be fired. It wasn't long ago that such egregious behavior would have amounted to treason.
These are, in part, the insulting remarks for which the Columbia University professors and deans will be apologizing:
According to Amnesty International, 210 people have been executed in Iran so far this year – 21 of them on the morning of September 5th alone. This annual total includes at least two children – further proof, as Human Rights Watch puts it, that Iran leads the world in executing minors.
...
In a December 2005 state television broadcast, you described the Holocaust as a “fabricated” “legend.” One year later, you held a two-day conference of Holocaust deniers.
For the illiterate and ignorant, this is dangerous propaganda. When you come to a place like this, this makes you, quite simply, ridiculous. You are either brazenly provocative or astonishingly uneducated.
...
Twelve days ago, you said that the state of Israel “cannot continue its life.” This echoed a number of inflammatory statements you have delivered in the last two years, including in October 2005 when you said that Israel should be “wiped off the map.”
...
According to reports by the Council on Foreign Relations, it’s well documented that Iran is a state sponsor of terror that funds such violent group as the Lebanese Hezbollah, which Iran helped organize in the 1980s, the Palestinian Hamas, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
While your predecessor government was instrumental in providing the US with intelligence and base support in its 2001 campaign against the Taliban in Afghanistan, your government is now undermining American troops in Iraq by funding, arming, and providing safe transit to insurgent leaders like Muqtada al-Sadr and his forces.
You can read the full speech HERE.

Who’s Afraid of Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week?
David Horowitz questions why so many are afraid of "Islamo-Fascism" week at Columbia University. What really surprises me are the horrible anti-American, antisemitic comments that follow the article. One anonymous commenter - obviously a Muslim or Islamic supporter - pleads with fellow Muslims not to react violently to Islamo-Fascism week. Is that what the 'religion of peace' has become? The slightest criticism and violence is expected? To me, that says more about the Muslim community than Islamo-Fascism week ever could.
Why is an idea so frightening to some members of the Columbia community that they need to organize a campaign to suppress it before it is even aired? Why have some Columbians taken it upon themselves to conduct a hate campaign against students who want to discuss issues that affect us all? Why, on the other hand, were many of these same groups determined to welcome to Columbia a dictator who is providing weapons to kill American men and women in Iraq, who has called for the extermination of the Jewish state, and who presides over a regime that has murdered 4,000 gays and hung women from cranes for alleged sexual improprieties? If the welcome mat was okay for Ahmadinejad, why do these people want to deny a platform to Columbia students who are concerned about the threat of Islamo-Fascism?
Is Islamo-Fascism a threat? In fact, this is exactly the kind of question that will be discussed during the week of Oct. 22-26 at Columbia, unless campus leftists obstruct it the way they did Jim Gilchrist’s attempt to discuss the border issue last year. The fascist threat is real, and not just in Iraq or Iran.
Writing in a recent issue of Spectator, Zahra Khimji, a Columbia sophomore, complained that Islam should not be part of this discussion, while suggesting that the Islamo-Fascists constitute “an incredibly minute minority” of her religion. Would this were so. Some polls estimate that 10 percent of Muslims support Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. An al-Jazeera poll put the number at 50 percent. In other words, somewhere between 150 million and 750 million Muslims support a holy war against Christians, Jews, and other Muslims who don’t happen to be true believers in the Quran according to bin Laden. This is not an “incredibly minute” cohort.

Islamic Bigotry: The Slaughter of 4,000 Gays
From Robert Spencer's FrontPage Magazine article:
At Columbia University on Monday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared: “We don’t have homosexuals like in your country. We don’t have that in our country. We don’t have this phenomenon; I don’t know who’s told you we have it.”
If there were any truth to this – and there is none – it would be because because the Islamic regime in Iran had killed them, since homosexuality can be a capital crime in that country. One notorious case occurred on July 19, 2005, when two teenage boys, Mahmoud Asgari, 14, and Ayaz Marhoni, 16, were hanged in a particularly brutal manner in Iran for the crime of homosexual activity. Although Iranian officials insisted that the death sentence was for the rape of a third boy, the National Council of Resistance of Iran, has said otherwise. But Asgari and Marhoni were not alone. According to the Iranian gay and lesbian rights group Homan, the Iranian government has put to death an estimated 4,000 homosexuals since 1980. According to Scott Long, director of the Human Rights Watch Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Rights Program, Iranians who are suspected of being gay commonly face torture. Hossein Alizadeh of the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission said Iran gays live with “constant fear of execution and persecution and also social stigma associated with homosexuality.”

Fred Thompson Statement on Ahmadinejad at Columbia University
Fred Thompson weighs in on Ahmadinejad speech at Columbia University:
McLean, VA - Senator Fred Thompson issued the following statement today regarding Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's appearance this afternoon at Columbia University:
"Columbia University gave a public forum today to a tyrant to spread his lies and deceit. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made a mockery of free speech by standing in front of an auditorium of academicians and students and denying the existence of the Holocaust and his deadly intentions toward Israel.
"I find it ironic that Iran's president accepted an invitation to speak at Columbia University, since students who dissent on Iranian campuses are not met with debate, they are met by a gun and imprisonment. A few months ago, eight college students were imprisoned in Iran's notorious Evin Prison for publishing articles and cartoons critical of Iran's government in a student-run newspaper. The Evin facility has been described as Iran's 'most feared prison' and is known to stone women to death. We need to do our best to empower freedom-loving people throughout Iran."
