Keep in mind, this is the same organization that ignores blatant human rights abuses in Muslim countries - abuses such as "honor" killings, slavery, and legal oppression of women - while condemning Israel as being the only violator of women's rights. In a world filled with war, terrorism, intolerance, hatred, plunder, systematic torture & abuses, religious persecution, rape, slaughter, and sanctioned genocidal cleansing, who does the U.N. feel most compelled to investigate? The United States of America.

A special U.N. human rights investigator will visit the United States this month to probe racism, an issue that has forced its way into the race to secure the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.

Now, we have an African American running for the highest office in the United States, arguably the most important position on earth, and the United Nations has the nerve to suggest we are a racist nation.

Why, let's ignore that fact that non-Muslims are forbidden to hold any position of authority, even at a local level, in some Islamic societies. Let's ignore the fact of public lynchings in certain Muslim cities. Never mind that, in Islamic countries, it is perfectly legal to beat a woman, that Muslims routinely burn down churches on a whim with no retribution or punishment, that terrorists are elevated to high government offices by Muslim hordes who support atrocities against and extermination of non-Muslims. Let's just pre-label America "racist" in case voters actually have the audacity to vote based on issues instead of skin colour.

Let us just assume that any American who does not vote for Barack Hussein "No Middle Name" Obama in November is nothing but racist bigot.

Yelatontsev said the people underground were in contact with him regularly, and would accept food only if it had not been processed with modern factory equipment.

Muslims Destroy Giant "Subversive" Teapot

You read that correctly. The irony is, the giant teapot was made by a Muslim in a gesture of friendship to those of other faiths. Islamic hardliners were unimpressed.

A religious commune in Malaysia's Muslim heartland that worshipped a bizarre collection of structures including a giant teapot, vase and umbrella was being torn down yesterday.

About 40 workers with bulldozers and lorries destroyed the "subversive" teapot and other symbols of the pan-religious Sky Kingdom, in Terengannu state. An assembly hall, a concrete boat and a temple-like structure that was under construction were also demolished. About 30 members of the commune watched but did not intervene.

Members and visitors to the commune believe that water from the teapot, which poured into the giant vase, held purifying powers. They follow the teaching of Ariffin Mohammed, 65, better known as Ayah ("Master") Pin, who holds that every religion is equally valid and that anyone can find his or her own path to God. His settlement has been a popular destination for Muslim, Chinese and Indian Malaysians, as well as foreign tourists.

Similar concerns were raised at Leicester University -and Sheffield University reported a case of a Muslim medic refusing to "scrub" because it left her forearms exposed.

Some students have said that they would prefer to quit the course rather than expose their arms, but hygiene experts said no exceptions should be made on religious grounds.

BELGRADE, Serbia-A Serbian group has disrupted an exhibition by Kosovo Albanian artists in Belgrade that featured portraits of armed Muslim gunmen who killed numerous Serb policemen and ethnically cleansed the province of Serbs.

Riot police were deployed to prevent about 300 members of the right-wing group Obraz, or Honor, from bursting into an art gallery where the exhibition was being opened.

Ljubica Beljanski-Ristic, an organizer of the exhibition of work by 11 Kosovo Albanian artists, said the display will have to be closed to the public after the incident.

"We'll try to show it through individual invitations of the visitors," Beljanski-Ristic said.

Ethnic tensions have soared in Serbia before a planned declaration of independence by ethnic Albanian leaders in Kosovo. Serbs regard Kosovo as the cradle of Serbia's medieval statehood and religion.

One of the group members tore up an exhibition poster of Adem Jasari, late founder of an Kosovo Albanian rebel group like a pop icon together with Elvis Presley. Jasari engaged in murder of Serb civilians. Westrn media has branded the individual that tore up the poster of a murderer as an "extremist".

Virginia Beach police seem to think so, and they've confiscated the promotional posters and cited the manager of the store. The manager could face thousands of dollars in fines AND prison time for the innocuous display.

Police, saying they were responding to citizen complaints, carted away two large promotional photographs from the Abercrombie & Fitch store in Lynnhaven Mall on Saturday and cited the manager on obscenity charges.

Adam Bernstein, a police spokesman, said the seizure and the issuance of the summons came only after store management had not heeded warnings to remove the images.

The citation was issued under City Code Section 22.31, Bernstein said, which makes it a crime to display "obscene materials in a business that is open to juveniles." He did not say what was being done with the pictures and when the manager, whose name was not released, is scheduled to appear in court.

Applying "contemporary community standards" in this day and age, the image above is far from obscene. However, by applying the criterion of an aggressive, non-secular minority subculture, it would be easy to see how the photographs might, whether justly or unjustly, offend.

UK To Give Muslims Multiple Benefits For Multiple Wives

Falling even further into dhimmitude, the UK has approved giving Muslim men with mulitple wives additional welfare benefits. Of course, America already offers that windfall by giving welfare to women with little or no accounting for the husband's whereabouts...

Husbands with multiple wives have been given the go-ahead to claim extra welfare benefits following a year-long Government review, The Sunday Telegraph can reveal.

Even though bigamy is a crime in Britain, the decision by ministers means that polygamous marriages can now be recognised formally by the state, so long as the weddings took place in countries where the arrangement is legal.

The outcome will chiefly benefit Muslim men with more than one wife, as is permitted under Islamic law. Ministers estimate that up to a thousand polygamous partnerships exist in Britain, although they admit there is no exact record.

Security officials believe that directly linking terrorism to Islam is inflammatory, and risks alienating mainstream Muslim opinion.

In her first major speech on radicalisation, Miss Smith repeatedly used the phrase "anti-Islamic".

In one passage she said: "As so many Muslims in the UK and across the world have pointed out, there is nothing Islamic about the wish to terrorise, nothing Islamic about plotting murder, pain and grief.

Katrina Victim Wants $3 Gazillion-Billion For "Suffering"

Hurricane Katrina's victims have put a price tag on their suffering and it is staggering — including one plaintiff seeking the unlikely sum of $3 quadrillion.

A whopping $3,014,170,389,176,410 is the dollar figure so far sought from some of the largest claims filed against the federal government over damage from the failure of levees and flood walls following the Aug. 29, 2005, hurricane.

Of roughly 489,000 total claims, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said it has received 247 for at least $1 billion apiece, including the one for $3 quadrillion.

"That's the mother of all high numbers," said Loren Scott, a Baton Rouge-based economist.

For the sake of perspective: A mere $1 quadrillion would dwarf the U.S. gross domestic product, which Scott said was $13.2 trillion in 2007. A stack of one quadrillion pennies would reach Saturn.

Some residents may have grossly exaggerated their claims to send a message to the corps, which has accepted blame for poorly designing the failed levees.

Columbia University Professors & Deans To Apologize To Ahmadinejad

An academic delegation of Columbia University professors and deans of faculties plans to visit Tehran to officially apologize to Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad.

The delegation plans to express regret for the insulting remarks Columbia University President Lee Bollinger directed at Ahmadinejad on September 24 in his introductory speech, the Mehr News Agency correspondent in New York reported.

Since the incident, the deans and professors from the faculties of history, anthropology, Middle Eastern studies, philosophy, and Islamic studies have criticized Bollinger’s behavior toward Ahmadinejad.

IDF Villanized For Not Raping Women

From The Jawa Report - a prize-winning research paper submitted to a Hebrew University is suggesting a political agenda is the sole reason the IDF does not rape Palestinian women:

A research paper that won a Hebrew University teachers' committee prize finds that the lack of IDF rapes of Palestinian women is designed to serve a political purpose.

The abstract of the paper, authored by doctoral candidate Tal Nitzan, notes that the paper shows that "the lack of organized military rape is an alternate way of realizing [particular] political goals."

The next sentence delineates the particular goals that are realized in this manner: "In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it can be seen that the lack of military rape merely strengthens the ethnic boundaries and clarifies the inter-ethnic differences - just as organized military rape would have done."

The paper further theorizes that Arab women in Judea and Samaria are not raped by IDF soldiers because the women are de-humanized in the soldiers' eyes.

The paper was published by the Hebrew University's Shaine Center, based on the recommendation of a Hebrew University professors' committee headed by Dr. Zali Gurevitch.

"I do not have the entire text in front of me," Gurevitch said, when contacted by Arutz-7, "and I don't think we can jump to conclusions based on partial sentences, but I can say the following: This was a very serious paper that asked two important questions: Is the relative lack of IDF rapes a noteworthy phenomenon, and if so, why is it that there are so few IDF rapes when in similar situations around the world, rape is much more common?"

JERUSALEM - The mayor of Sderot, a small town in Israel that has borne the brunt of rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip, announced Wednesday that he is stepping down, saying the situation there is "impossible."

Eli Moyal said he hoped his resignation would spur authorities to move against the Hamas militants who overran Gaza six months ago, defeating forces loyal to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Sderot, a working-class town of 22,000 a mile from the Gaza Strip, has been battered by more than 4,500 rockets launched by Palestinians since 2001.

"The situation in Sderot is impossible," Moyal said on Israel Radio. "I am resigning immediately as the mayor of Sderot. Maybe this will spark the government to launch an operation for the lives of its residents."

Police Blamed For Mass Drug Overdoses

DRUG counsellors have launched an extraordinary attack on police, blaming them for causing mass overdoses at a weekend rave held at a castle within a medieval theme park.

Users swallowed their drug stashes rather than risk arrest by police patrolling the event in the regional Victorian town Ballarat with sniffer dogs, the drug education group VIVAIDS claimed.

VIVAIDS chief Damon Brogan slammed the 70-strong police presence at the Ultraworld Festival as "over-zealous" and demanded they stop hassling revellers.

"Confronted with such a police presence, some individuals are tempted to unwisely consume all their drugs in one go, rather than throw them away or risk arrest," Mr Brogan said.

He detailed problems in the accounts and explained alternative historiography that described the rise of an Islamic scientific tradition as a result of social and political conditions within the nascent Islamic empire. He said Muslim philosophy was the impetus behind Islamic science that had contributed to various disciplines including botany, zoology, algebra, trigonometry, physics, chemistry, astronomy, physics, chemistry, physiology and mathematics in the pre-industrial era. He said the use of decimal fractions was not a Western invention and that it was discovered by a Muslim scientist. He said the binary system, on which the computer was based, was also invented by a Muslim scientist. He said Arab/Islamic science was not an intermediary between Greek science and European science, but was rather the Renaissance that integrated the Islamic science with European science. Saliba also visited the English Language and Literature Department where he engaged faculty members in a conversation on the Islamic and Renaissance paradigms.

MUMBAI (AFP) - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan says his next film will look at discrimination faced by Muslims after the September 11, 2001, terror attacks in the United States.

Khan, who like many prominent stars in the Indian film industry is Muslim, has faced extra scrutiny after the 2001 attacks in the United States.

"If you travel internationally with a Muslim surname, you might be considered as a terrorist," Khan told Wednesday's DNA newspaper.

"At London airport, every time I go, people recognise me but they see my second name and they give me an extra checking," said the star, who is known for his successful romantic comedies.

Khan said he had experienced greater religious discrimination abroad, though India, which is majority Hindu but home to 140 million Muslims, sees regular sectarian violence.
