Blogging The Qur'an

Below is Robert Spencer's complete series "Blogging the Qur'an." This is a must read for any person with a sincere interest in learning more about the Quran and how it inspires Islamic terrorists into committing atrocities against other human beings.

Read what the Muslim holy book really says about women, non-Muslims, Jews, slavery, peace, war, and everything else our PC Government and Islamic apologists don't want you to know. For easy reference, you might want to have a Quran nearby to crosscheck. I recommend THIS one, which has three different popular translations. You can also download a Quran at Scribd.com.

As Robert writes in the introduction:

To understand the motives and goals of Islamic jihad terrorists, one good place to start might be to explore what they themselves say about why they’re doing what they’re doing, and what they want. That in turn will lead you to the Qur’an (or Koran), the Islamic holy book. The jihadists quote it frequently and portray themselves as those who are following “pure Islam,” the genuine article as it is taught in the Qur’an and Islamic tradition. So in the course of my work explaining the jihadists’ objectives, I’ve quoted the Qur’an a great deal – and hardly a day goes by without my being accused of “cherry-picking” violent passages, and quoting them “out of context.” Meanwhile, the Council on American Islamic Relations and other Muslim groups say that in order to understand the true, peaceful Islam, we should read the Qur’an.

So over the course of the next few months, I’m going to read it, and discuss it in a series of columns. All of it. Not “cherry-picked” or “out of context.” The whole thing, beginning to end.

Download it, read it, and share it. Knowledge is power.

[UPDATE] You can download the pdf HERE or HERE. If you can host the file anywhere, please do and please send me a link!

Well Said, Lt. Colonel!

Transcript:

"Let me say this... and I don't care about being popular or whatever. First thing you have to do is study and understand who you are up against. And you must realize that this is not a religion you are fighting against. You are fighting against a theopolitical belief system and construct. You're fighting against something that's been doing this thing since 622 a.d. - the 7th century - 1388 years...

You want to dig up Charles Martel and ask him why him why he was fighting the Muslim army at the Battle of Tours in 732? You want to ask the Venetian fleet at Lepanto why they were fighting a Muslim fleet in 1571? You want to ask…the Germanic and Austrian knights why they were fighting at the gates of Vienna in 1683? You want to ask people what happened at Constantinople and why today it is called Istanbul because they lost that fight in 1453?

You need to get into the Koran and understand their precepts, you need to read the Sira, you need to read the Hadiths. This is not a perversion. They are doing exactly what this book says."

And Col. West reminds us of what should be self-evident, contra the willfully blind, delusional apologetics embraced by our current political and military leadership:

"Until you get principled leadership in the United States of America that is willing to say that, we will continue to chase our tail, because we will never clearly define who this enemy is, and then understand their goals and objectives—which (are) on any jihadist website—and then come up with the right (and) proper objectives to not only secure our Republic but secure Western civilization."

Lt. Col. West is running for Florida's 22nd Congressional district. Support him!

It's The JOOS Fault!

A new Lancet study claims Palestinian men are beating their wives because of Israel.

I kid you not.

They are blaming domestic violence in an Islamic society on Jews. Certainly, it wouldn't have anything to do with this:

"Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great." (Quran 4:34)

And it certainly couldn't have anything to do with countless accounts in the Hadith in which Muhammad approved of, or turned a blind at, his followers beating their wives. It is very unlikely that it has anything to do with Islam's perfect example himself beating his own wife.

And it doesn't matter that these findings directly conflict with this extensive study.

No.

It's the JOOS fault.
