Obama's approach to Iran, including his assertion that the unrest there represents a debate among Iranians unrelated to the United States, is an acknowledgment that a U.S. president's words have a limited ability to alter foreign events in real time and could do more harm than good. But privately Obama advisers are crediting his Cairo speech for inspiring the protesters, especially the young ones, who are now posing the most direct challenge to the republic's Islamic authority in its 30-year history.

WASHINGTON (AFP) — The United States said Monday its invitations were still standing for Iranian diplomats to attend July 4 celebrations at US embassies despite the crackdown on opposition supporters.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights knows no national boundaries. Its defense is not only a matter of ethics, but a mutual obligation of all governments who are its signatories. It is also in their interests.
No one, no one will benefit from closing his or her eyes to knives and cables cutting into faces and mouths of our young and old… (pause) or from bullets piercing our beloved Neda… whose only sin was the quest for freedom. No one but tyrants and their thugs.
Do not let them define what is disrespect for sovereignty, what is interference in others affairs.
Ladies and gentlemen, a movement was born. On the 22nd of Khordad in my calendar, the 12th of June in yours.
It is not Islamic or anti-Islamic, it is not for Capitalism or Socialism, nor any other ideology or specific form of government. It cares little about historical squabbles before its birth. But it is about the sanctity – even more – the sovereignty of the ballot box.
It may not succeed immediately. It may have ebbs and flows. But let me assure you, it will not die. Because we will not let it die.

Tomorrow is Saturday. Tomorrow is a day of destiny.
Tonight, the cries of Allah-o Akbar are heard louder and louder than the nights before.
Where is this place? Where is this place where every door is closed? Where is this place where people are simply calling God? Where is this place where the sound of Allah-o Akbar gets louder and louder?
I wait every night to see if the sounds will get louder and whether the number increases. It shakes me. I wonder if God is shaken.
Where is this place that where so many innocent people are entrapped? Where is this place where no one comes to our aid? Where is this place that only with our silence we are sending our voices to the world? Where is this place that the young shed blood and then people go and pray -- standing on that same blood and pray. Where is this place where the citizens are called vagrants?
Where is this place? You want me to tell you?
This place is Iran. The homeland of you and me. This place is Iran.

Born in Tehran during the turmoil of the Iranian Revolution in 1979, Nazanin Afshin-Jam's family was forced to leave all their worldly possessions behind and flee to freedom, when her father had been jailed and tortured by the Revolutionary Guard under the new regime. Awaiting execution, it was the family's escape to Europe that saved them from political persecution. Faced with adversity so early in life, the revolution impacted her core.
Throughout Nazanin's life, she has found solace in the music that surrounds her. Her mother inundated their family with music flowing constantly in the house from her incredibly eclectic music collection. Her constant world travels and cultural awareness have molded her musical acuity to span a spectrum broader then most are ever exposed to. Blessed with the voice of angels, Nazanin whisks audiences away on a musical journey around the world with her debut album,"Someday".

Remember, friends, the Pakis are our allies.
WASHINGTON -- International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that radical Muslims running a tea stall beat a Christian man to death for using a cup designated for Muslims on May 9. The young man, Ishtiaq Masih, had ordered tea at a roadside stall in Machharkay village, Punjab, Pakistan, after his bus stopped to allow passengers to relieve themselves.
When Ishtiaq went to pay for his tea, the owner noticed that he was wearing a necklace with a cross and grabbed him, calling for his employees to bring anything available to beat him for violating a sign posted on the stall warning non-Muslims to declare their religion before being served. Ishtiaq had not noticed the warning sign before ordering his tea, as he ordered with a group of his fellow passengers.
The owner and 14 of his employees beat Ishtiaq with stones, iron rods and clubs, and stabbed him multiple times with kitchen knives as Ishtiaq pleaded for mercy.
The other bus passengers and other passers-by finally intervened and took Ishtiaq to the Rural Health Center in the village. There Ishtiaq died as a result of spinal, head, and chest injuries. The doctor who took Ishtiaq's case told ICC that Ishtiaq had excessive internal and external bleeding, a fractured skull, and brain injuries.

Remember the Muhammad cartoon riots a few years back? Freedom was roundly condemned by Muslims throughout the United Kingdom and around the world.
Islam thrives on hypocrisy. The Sharia law, for example, gives different punishments to Muslims than it does for non-Muslims. And as far as Muslim, Islam gives fewer rights to Muslim women than it does for Muslim men.
So, it shouldn't surprise anyone that this is the Islamic view of Kafir freedom:

The American government has spent over $22 BILLION on the "drug war" since January 1st, 2009.
Six months.
To put this into perspective, NASA received only $15 billion in 2008. The Department of Education, $61 billion for the entire 2008 year.
The INTEREST alone on Obama's $11 TRILLION debt will cost the U.S. taxpayer an average of over $26 billion per month.

In Cairo yesterday, the U.S. President Barack Hussein Obama invited a group of journalists to a 'round table' meeting, just minutes after he praised Islami's commitment to "peace" and "tolerance".
The following was not reported by the mainstream media:
Lebanon and Syria, two countries that share a common border with Israel, respectively act as a state-sponsor and base for terror against Israel. The reporters from these countries would not even sit in the same room as a Jew -- even after bathing in Obama's healing rhetoric.

I'm glad to see our parents and grandparents sacrificed so much so they could be exploited by the disgusting current Administration and his cohorts...
Of course, its a horrible slip up. But to allow it to pass without even an acknowledgment shows the utter contempt these current politicians have for the truly Greatest Generation.
